Round, very sweet and perfect for oven roasting.

Our roasting pumpkin is the “dulce de horno” (sweet oven) variety: round, slightly flattened and with a ribbed skin, its very sweet yellow-orange flesh caramelises in the oven. It is the traditional pumpkin for “carabassa torrà” (roast pumpkin), a classic of Valencian cooking in autumn and winter.

Besides roasting, it is the traditional pumpkin for sweets and desserts.
